Veronica Sberveglieri Ph.D in Science, Technology, Biotechnology in Agro-Food (2010), from February 2015 to December 2016, I was a Researcher at the SENSOR Lab INO of the National Research Council (CNR), from January 2017 to now, a Researcher at CNR-IBBR (Secondary Section, Sesto Fiorentino), where I deal with innovation and experimentation in the areas of Life Sciences and Health, my research, pure and applied for 7 years, it focuses on the development of artificial olfactory systems.
From 2007 to 2013 I was the chief scientist for the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia for CAFIS project "Use of analytical techniques for the determination of quality indices in green coffee, roasted and ground." Since 2011 I was also responsible for the scientific microbiological aspects of SNOOPY "project Sniffer for concealed people discovery", project funded by the European Union regarding the Health area.
I have an H-index of 10 (updated in April 2017) with about 55 publications in peer reviewed journals. Since 2015 Matter Expert at the University of Modena and Reggio graduation Master, for the course of "Residues and Contaminants of Food Products" at the Life Sciences Department.
I did as Referee for scientific journals as "Sensors and Actuators B: Chemical" (Impact Factor: 4.758), "Food Chemistry" (Impact Factor: 4.052) and "Food Control" (Impact Factor: 3.388). I had the opportunity to serve as Chairman in the sessions of international conferences like the International Conference on Sensing Technology (2013, 2014, 2015) and the International Meeting on Chemical Sensors (2016). In 2015 and 2017 I was the director of the winter course in Ponte di Legno (ISOCS) about "Electronic nose and applications fields”.
